The tutor will be responsible for supporting the student throughout their entire educational pathway, in order to guide, assist, motivate, and actively involve them in the learning process. This also aims to remove obstacles to effective course attendance through initiatives appropriate to the needs, aptitudes, and requirements of each individual student (Art. 15, paragraph 2 of the Teaching Regulations of the Degree Program in Pharmacy)
The Teaching Staff Unit acts as an interface between the student and the Degree Program. The main activities carried out aim to achieve full student satisfaction and to respond to the different needs that students may encounter during their educational path.
Main activities include:
- Providing information, assistance, and advisory services to students through the assignment of a teaching contact person for each Degree Program and the establishment of two teaching offices, one at the Papardo Campus and the other at the Annunziata Campus.
- Orientation activities for students at the entry stage, during their studies, and at graduation.
- Assistance with the procedures for starting internships and traineeships.
- Establishing new agreements with external companies upon request from individual students.
- Organizing periodic meetings with representatives from the job market to discuss the adequacy of the educational activities of the Degree Programs with respect to the needs of the production and employment sectors.
- Continuous monitoring of students’ academic careers to obtain information on the effectiveness of teaching activities, identify possible critical issues, and determine corrective actions; analysis of data related to students’ background, academic progress, and outcomes.
- Support in preparing the Annual Single Report and the Annual and Cyclical Review of the Degree Programs.
- Analysis of feedback from graduating students and partner companies.
- Entry of courses and their teaching assignments into the university’s teaching registry platform.
- Collaboration with the Director, Coordinators, and lecturers in planning, managing, and monitoring the educational activities of the Degree Programs.
- Preparation of the classroom plan, lecture schedules, and exam calendars.
- Organization and assistance in the implementation of seminars organized by the various Degree Programs.
Support for the self-evaluation and accreditation process of the study programs.
